Quite unsurprisingly, the vast majority of Gen Z women (92%) acknowledge that their beauty or wellness routines are influenced by online creators, illustrating the trust and power creators hold in driving consumer behavior, according to the new report released by creator-guided shopping platform, LTK. More, 78% of Gen Z and 61% of millennial women rank creators as “their most trusted source for beauty recommendations,” with social media ranking as the No. 1 platform where they discover and admire new beauty products.

Interestingly, Gen Z is more likely to shop for drugstore products (52%) and look for dupes or less expensive versions of luxury beauty items (47%), per the creator-used, shopping trends platform.
